Accent on Now

Accessorizing takes on a new importance in the age of teleconferencing with Zoom. After one creates the perfect “set,” one must create the perfect personal look...from the shoulder up, anyway. One is fortunate to have Jane’s Vanity in the wings, ready to add that special touch. A scarf will do the trick.

Once one has begun to collect Klements scarves from JV’s evolving stock, it is difficult to stop. Each season brings amazing new possibilities from the creative mind of Klements designer Charlotte Allen. The images are so distinctive that, looking at one’s scarf collection years later, one is pulled back to the time and place of each purchase. This year will be no exception.

Klements beautifies the landscape with the new Chihuahuan Desert print in tones of peach, accented with black, white, and red. Inspired by a trip through Big Bend National Park in the Texas desert, the design shows Prickly Pear cactus, Century plants, Ocotillo plants, Lechuguilla and the magnificent Sotol plants. Wear it as a reimagined classic bandana in the Chihuahuan Desert Giant Square of cotton/silk blend (measures over 55” x 55”). Or, opt for the Chihuahuan Ivie Tassel Scarf. Long and lean, its narrow 70” length is wrappable in many ways.

Complement this look with the Marfa Sunset Giant Square in silk chiffon. Its multicolored graphic design was Inspired by Mexican blankets found in a Marfa, Texas antique shop.

Klements then surprises with the Gothic Floral print, a cooler take on nature. Its springy green thorn flowers, accented with white, and black, will bring an English garden feel to one’s Zoom environment. Choose either giant square or skinny.

Relax. Jane’s Vanity has just the scarf for all our angles.
